蜂胶是一种树脂混合物，是蜜蜂从树芽、树汁液，或其他植物上收集而来的产品。主要存在蜂巢之中。蜜蜂通过在蜂胶上面不断摩擦自己，是自己的身体获得整洁。现在，热门发现蜂胶有着很好的抗菌消炎的效果。蜂胶很少是以最原始的状态出现在市场上。通常可以在蜂巢上采集得到蜂胶，蜂胶会包含其他蜂产品成分。蜂胶含有300多种化合物。人们很难从常规的方法得到天然蜂胶，只能采取偷的方法，将蜂胶从蜂巢内偷走。蜜蜂生产蜂胶的目的是保持蜂巢内干净清洁。因此，蜂胶与其他的蜂巢有着不同的特性。

Propolis or bee glue is a resinous mixture that honey bees collect from tree buds, sap flows, or other botanical sources. They are available and used in their hives. All the day long the bees get hygened by rubbing themselves on the propolis. It is today known that the propolis has antibiotic effect. Propolis is rarely available in its pure form. It is usually obtained from beehives and contains bee products. Within its structure, there are more than 300 isolated compounds. It is not always possible to be found pure and the common method to obtain it, is to steal from the hive. It is produced by bees in order to keep their hive hygenic. So it has a different structure than other bee products.
